Ingredients
- 30 oz marshmallows (divided)
- 18 cups puffed rice cereal (divided)
- 9 oz unsalted butter (divided)
- Red and blue food coloring
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Set aside.
- For the red layer: Melt 3 oz butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in 10 oz marshmallows until smooth; add red food coloring. Mix in 6 cups puffed rice cereal until coated. Press into the dish.
- For the white layer: Repeat step 2 using another 3 oz butter and marshmallows without food coloring. Layer on top of the red layer.
- For the blue layer: Repeat step 2 using another 3 oz butter, adding blue food coloring this time. Press onto the white layer.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
