  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 34 green chilies
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • turmeric
  • red chili powder
  • cumin powder
  • coriander powder
  • garam masala
  • Salt
  • Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
  4. Add ground meat and cook until browned, breaking up any clumps.
  5. Mix in dry spices (turmeric, chili powder, cumin, coriander, salt) and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add diced potatoes and enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil.
  7. Lower heat, cover the skillet, and let simmer for about 25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  8. Garnish with garam masala and freshly chopped coriander before serving.
