  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup white wine or low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Allow the salmon to rest at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar, white wine (or broth), honey, Dijon mustard, rosemary sprig, and minced garlic. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat and simmer until thickened (10–15 minutes). Strain into a heatproof bowl and set aside.
  3. Pat salmon dry, season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon fillets; sear without moving for 3–4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes until just cooked through.
  4. Serve warm with the balsamic glaze drizzled on top, garnished with parsley if desired.
