  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sauté beef strips until browned (about 5–7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, cook chopped onions and minced garlic until translucent, then add sliced mushrooms and cook until soft.
  4. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and gradually mix in sour cream; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Return the cooked beef to the skillet, gently combine, and heat through.
