  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley flakes
  • 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by pounding it to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch and cutting it into strips.
  2. Marinate the chicken strips in buttermilk for at least an hour.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, seasoned salt, paprika, and parsley flakes.
  4. Beat the eggs in another bowl until well mixed.
  5. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F in a deep frying pan.
  6. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture, dip in egg, then coat again in flour.
  7. Fry coated chicken strips for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
