  • 1/2 pound ground breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs (beaten)
  • 8 slices Colby-Jack cheese
  • 4 tablespoons soft butter (divided)
  • 8 slices sourdough bread

Instructions

  1. In a non-stick skillet, cook the ground sausage until browned. Transfer to a paper towel-lined bowl.
  2. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and scramble the beaten eggs until just set.
