Description

Cheeseburger Sliders are a fun and flavorful twist on the classic cheeseburger, perfect for any gathering or family dinner. In just 30 minutes, you can whip up these bite-sized delights that pack all the juicy goodness of a traditional burger into a slider form. Each slider is layered with savory beef, melted cheese, and soft dinner rolls, making them an irresistible crowd-pleaser. They’re not just quick to prepare but also make-ahead friendly, allowing you to enjoy more time with your guests and less time in the kitchen.


Ingredients

  • 2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 large yellow onion (finely diced)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 slices medium cheddar cheese
  • 6 oz medium cheddar (shredded or use more sliced cheese)
  • 24 dinner rolls
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted, plus more to grease baking sheet)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and butter the bottom of a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sauté diced onion until translucent. Add ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks; season with salt and pepper until browned.
  3. Stir in mayonnaise once cooked through and remove from heat.
  4. Cut dinner rolls in half and place the bottom halves on the baking sheet. Layer with cheese slices, spread beef mixture evenly, then top with shredded cheese.
  5. Place top bun halves cut-side down over the filling. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
