  • 7 ounces plain Greek yogurt
  • 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate chicken: Mix yogurt, garam masala, lemon juice, black pepper, and ginger in a large bowl. Add chicken chunks and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. 2. Sear chicken: Heat a nonstick pan over high heat. Cook half of the marinated chicken until golden brown; repeat with remaining chicken.
  3. 3. Simmer sauce: In the same pan, combine tomato sauce, cream, garlic, garam masala, paprika, salt, and cayenne. Bring to a simmer and add seared chicken. Cook for 20 minutes.
