  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low and add butter. Once melted, stir in minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and whole milk; mix well. Gradually add shredded parmesan while stirring until melted and smooth.
