Ingredients

  • 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Optional: 1 cup chopped spinach

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in cream, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese until smooth. If using spinach, add it now and simmer for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  3. Return the chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over it, and let simmer for another minute before serving.
