  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 pounds ground beef (80/20)
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 15.5 ounces kidney beans
  • 29 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 15.5 ounces chili hot beans
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ tablespoon salt

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion, green bell pepper, and garlic into small pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the vegetables for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until almost browned. Sprinkle with chili powder and cook until fully browned.
  4. Transfer the meat mixture to the slow cooker and add all remaining ingredients. Stir well to combine.
  5. Cook on low heat for about 4 hours.
