Description

Easter Goody Bars are the perfect springtime treat, combining a buttery pecan oat crust with a rich fudge filling and colorful Easter M&M candies. Ingredients

  • 1½ cups quick oats
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips OR semi-sweet
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup Easter pastel m&m's

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray or parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, melted butter, and chopped pecans until crumbly.
  3. Reserve 1½ cups of the mixture for topping and press the remaining into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt together sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter until smooth. Pour this fudge filling over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the reserved crumble on top followed by pressing in the Easter M&M's.
  6. Bake for 20-23 minutes until edges pull away from the pan. Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
