  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 8 small-medium apples

Instructions

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and coat it with cooking spray.
  3. In a large saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water; bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in red food coloring and continue boiling until reaching Hard Crack stage (300-310 degrees).
  5. Remove from heat, dip each apple into the mixture quickly to coat, then place on the prepared baking sheet to cool.
