  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage (casings removed)
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (25 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the Italian sausage. Add diced onion and mushrooms; cook until softened. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, Parmesan, and 1 cup mozzarella until smooth.
  4. Layer half of the cream cheese mixture in the baking dish. Top with half of the marinara sauce, cooked sausage mixture, and mini pepperoni.
  5. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients and top with extra mozzarella.
  6. Bake for 20–30 minutes until bubbly.
