Ingredients
Scale
- 1 boneless ribeye steak
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 Boursin cheese (garlic & herb)
- 2 tablespoons water
- ½ tablespoon creamed horseradish
- 1 baguette
- ¼ cup olive oil
- balsamic glaze
- fresh chives
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steak with kosher salt. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the steak for about 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- While the steak cooks, slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick pieces and brush with olive oil.
- Toast the baguette slices in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Boursin cheese and creamed horseradish; add water to reach desired consistency.
- Once the steak rests, slice thinly against the grain. Assemble by placing steak on each toasted slice, drizzling with balsamic glaze, adding horseradish sauce, and garnishing with chives.
