Description

Elevate your next gathering with Easy Steak Crostini (with Horseradish Sauce), a delightful appetizer that fuses tender ribeye steak with a creamy horseradish sauce, all served atop crispy baguette slices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 boneless ribeye steak
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 Boursin cheese (garlic & herb)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ½ tablespoon creamed horseradish
  • 1 baguette
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • balsamic glaze
  • fresh chives

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steak with kosher salt. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the steak for about 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  2. While the steak cooks, slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick pieces and brush with olive oil.
  3. Toast the baguette slices in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine Boursin cheese and creamed horseradish; add water to reach desired consistency.
  5. Once the steak rests, slice thinly against the grain. Assemble by placing steak on each toasted slice, drizzling with balsamic glaze, adding horseradish sauce, and garnishing with chives.
