- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/2 tsp white pepper

- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tbsp Tony’s seasoning
- 1 tbsp chili sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- Dash sriracha
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter (for frying)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp almond extract (or vanilla)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch nutmeg
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- Marinate chicken thighs in buttermilk, salt, and white pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a Dutch oven to 350°F.
- Mix flour, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and Tony's seasoning for coating.
- Coat marinated chicken in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown (about 7 minutes per side).
- For the sauce, combine apricot preserves, chili sauce, honey, bourbon, and sriracha in a pot; simmer until thickened.
- Prepare French toast by whisking eggs, milk, almond extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg; soak brioche slices and cook on a skillet until golden.
