- 95g (¾ cup) all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 225g (1 ¼ cups) dark chocolate, chopped
- 56g (¼ cup) butter
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 100g (¾ cup) caster sugar
- 90g (½ cup) demerara sugar
- 85g (½ cup) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160ºC (320ºF) or 170ºC (338ºF). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Melt dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth; stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Combine dry ingredients in another bowl; fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, followed by the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoons of batter onto the lined tray and bake for 12-14 minutes until tops are crackly.
- Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
