- 100 g caster or granulated sugar
- 90 g Demerara or raw sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 85 g dark or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160ºC (320ºF) with fan or 170ºC (338ºF) conventional, lining a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Melt chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water; stir until smooth and mix in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugars until thick and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; add chocolate chips.
- Fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture gently.
