Instructions

  2. Add broccoli florets and vegetable broth; cook until tender but still crisp, about 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together water, soy sauce, vinegar, maple syrup, and cornstarch until smooth.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce into the pan with broccoli; add chickpeas and stir well.
  5. Bring to a boil until the sauce simmers; cook for an additional few minutes until heated through.
