  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¾ cup water, divided
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated or minced
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 small onion, diced

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine ¾ cup water, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, honey, and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a low boil.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk remaining water with cornstarch until smooth; add to the sauce and cook until thickened.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Sauté diced onion for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add ground turkey; cook until browned (7-10 minutes). Mix in broccoli and carrots; cook until tender (5-7 minutes).
