- 1 lb pizza dough
- 2 small cooked chicken breasts, chopped
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (divided)
- 3 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 2 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pineapple tidbits
- Thinly sliced red onion, to taste
- Chopped cilantro (optional)
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a pizza stone inside if using.
- In a medium bowl, combine chopped chicken with ¼ cup of barbecue sauce; set aside.
- Roll out pizza dough into a 12 to 14-inch circle and spread remaining barbecue sauce over it.
- Sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella cheese on top, followed by the chicken mixture, bacon, pineapple tidbits, and red onion. Finish with the remaining mozzarella and a sprinkle of black pepper.
