  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and mince the garlic and cilantro.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat; add olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.
  3. Sauté garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer, season with salt and pepper, cooking for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
  5. Mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), ground ginger, and lime juice in a bowl; pour into the skillet with shrimp.
  6. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Remove from heat, stir in chopped cilantro, and serve immediately.
