  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 45 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup beef broth or water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until onions are translucent.
  4. Layer the beef mixture in the prepared baking dish. Top with sliced potatoes and season each layer with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  5. Sprinkle cheeses on top and pour beef broth around the edges.
