  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce for topping
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 12 maraschino cherries with stems
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until combined. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; fold into wet mixture.
  4. Pour into a greased springform pan and bake for 25–30 minutes. Cool completely.
  5. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla and sour cream.
  6. Pour cheesecake batter over brownie layer and bake for 50–60 minutes. Let cool in the oven for an hour.
  7. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving with hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, nuts, cherries, and sprinkles.
