Ingredients
- 1/2 cup liquid aminos (or soy sauce)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 tsp Sambal Oelek
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine liquid aminos (or soy sauce), brown sugar, garlic, rice wine vinegar, Sambal Oelek, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until dissolved.
- Stir the cornstarch slurry into the saucepan and whisk continuously over medium-low heat for about 5-10 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to an airtight jar.
