  • 225 grams (1 and 1/2 cups) chopped chocolate
  • Optional: 50 grams (1/2 cup) walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 C (350 F). Line two baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cold butter and brown sugar. Beat until smooth, then mix in vanilla extract and the cold egg.
  3. Add flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and optional salt. Mix on low speed until a dough forms, then fold in chocolate and walnuts.
  4. Scoop about two tablespoons of dough for each cookie onto the prepared trays, leaving space between each scoop.
  5. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Allow cooling on wire racks before serving.
