- 1 egg yolk

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup sugar (for frosting)

Instructions
- In a stand mixer, cream the softened butter and sugar until well combined. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add this to the butter mixture until just combined. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick on a floured surface and cut into shapes using cookie cutters. Bake for 9-10 minutes on parchment-lined baking sheets until set.
