Instructions
- Make the Peach Jam: Combine cubed peaches with sugar and lemon juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 12–15 minutes until thickened. Stir in cornstarch mixed with water and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Prepare the Dough: In a stand mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add milk, egg, vanilla extract, and tangzhong (water and flour mixture). Mix until a dough forms; knead for 10–11 minutes until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour until doubled.
- Assemble Rolls: Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread brown sugar filling and peach jam on top, layer peach slices, cut into strips, and roll each strip into swirls. Place in a baking dish; let rise again for 1 hour.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 325°F (162°C) and bake rolls for 30–35 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before frosting.
- Make Frosting: Blend cream cheese with butter and powdered sugar; drizzle over warm rolls.
