  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 46 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 6 cups low sodium beef broth
  • 3/4 cup uncooked long grain white rice
  • Fresh herbs (basil, oregano, parsley)
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  2. Add the red and green bell peppers, garlic, and red pepper flakes; sauté until onions are tender.
