  • 3 tablespoons butter (for caramel)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (for caramel)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (for caramel)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease three 8-inch cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture without overmixing.
