Ingredients

  • 16 ounces rotini pasta
  • Red and blue liquid food coloring
  • Olive or vegetable oil
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni
  • Black olives
  • Italian dressing

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Divide the cooked pasta into three equal portions. In two Ziploc bags, mix one portion with red food coloring and water, and another with blue food coloring and water. Seal tightly and knead until uniformly colored.
  3. Toss the remaining plain pasta with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine all three colored pastas along with halved cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cubes, chopped pepperoni, black olives, and Italian dressing. Mix well.
  5. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
