  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Combine spices (light brown sugar, granulated sugar, onion powder, salt) in a bowl.
  3. Remove the membrane from the ribs.
  4. Season ribs with spice rub.
  5. Wrap in foil, sealing tightly.
  6. Bake for about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  7. Mix barbecue sauce with light brown sugar; spoon over ribs.
  8. Broil for 2-3 minutes to caramelize.
