  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Unbleached White Organic All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Organic Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 tablespoon chai spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 46 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a skillet until it reaches a dark amber hue and transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Combine sugars, eggs, and vanilla in the bowl, mixing until well incorporated.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, chai spice blend, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Chill dough for 10–15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Form dough into balls and flatten slightly on the sheets. Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden.
  6. Prepare maple glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, chai spice, vanilla extract, salt, maple syrup, and heavy cream until smooth.
  7. Once cookies cool completely, glaze them as desired.
