  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 68 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and smoked sausage; cook until browned (about 6–8 minutes). Set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add uncooked pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente (10–12 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  5. Return chicken and sausage to the pot, mixing in Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  6. Serve warm garnished with chopped parsley.
