Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter, warm water, and sugar until dissolved.
- Stir in the flour, olive oil, and salt until a thick dough forms.
- Allow the dough to rest for 30 to 45 minutes covered with a damp towel.
- After resting, stretch and fold the dough for several minutes before letting it rise at room temperature for 4 to 12 hours.
- Shape the dough into a log and place in a greased loaf pan. Let it rise until doubled in size (1-2 hours).
- Preheat your oven to 375ºF and bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a rack for at least an hour before slicing.
