- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (14.5 oz each)
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked long grain white rice
Instructions
- In a Dutch oven over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add olive oil to the pot and sauté the onions and bell peppers until soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Return the cooked beef to the pot along with diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper.
