  • 2 cups + 2 tbsp (280g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry-flavored gelatin mix
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting
  • 2430 chocolate kiss candies, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract; mix well.
  2. Incorporate strawberry gelatin into the mixture.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt before gradually combining with the wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
  4. Shape dough into balls and chill for at least 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place chilled balls on a lined baking sheet and bake for 11-13 minutes.
  6. Press a chocolate kiss into each warm cookie and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
